 EDUCATION Mini Grants
 On October 24, 2011, eleven mini grants were awarded to schools in Santee School District. Each school submitted an application and shared with the Foundation their request for financial resources for a special project or program at their school.

The $500-$1,000 mini-grants grants will fund projects and programs such as site literacy program materials, Peace Patrol, EduDance, intramural sports, afterschool music, foreign language opportunities, junior high book club, and an indoor fitness center. These mini-grants fulfill the Mission of the Foundation: To provide financial, material and service resources and these great programs might not be available to Santee students without support from the Foundation. Congratulations to each grant recipient!
